2. No Objection Certificate

The no objection certificate applies to a vehicle presented to Volkswagen AG by the custom body builder or equipment fitter. Bodies, installations or conversions performed by the custom body builder are examined and found unobjectionable, if applicable. 

For the issue of a no objection certificate, no calculations, tests or comprehensive driving tests are carried out.

Please note that Volkswagen AG accepts no liability for damage to the base vehicle that occurs during the conversions.

When inquiring about planned modifications and vehicle presentations, please enclose two sets of design drawings of the complete scope of the modification, including weights, centre of gravity and dimensions, which also clearly show how the body is attached to the chassis. Please also provide information about the intended operating conditions of the vehicle.
